- All businesses are profiled by SIC codes. You can browse the SIC code list and then select a specific code (the definition will be automatically?entered in the description field), or you can enter a partial description and the?search engine will search all codes to find possible matches. example

description, both? paint supply companies and painting contractors. Selecting a specific code by browsing the code list will allow you to restrict the?search (to a paint supply or paint contracting) category.
