SOUTH MONTEREY COUNTY JOINT UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT – GREENFIELD BARN

Bids are due Friday, October 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM

Swinerton Builders is Seeking Qualified Subcontractors and Suppliers to provide pricing (bids) for the South Monterey County Joint Union High School District Projects. Located at 225 South El Camino Real, Greenfield, CA 93927.  

Scope of work includes: The project includes the construction of a new 7,475-square-foot agricultural barn building along with 43,265 square feet of associated site improvements.

Bid Packages (includes but not limited to): Survey, Final Clean, SWPPP/Erosion Control, Demolition, Concrete, Concrete Reinforcing, Masonry, Sheet Metal/Metal Panel, Waterproofing, Overhead Coiling Doors, Painting, Specialties, Signage, Toilet Accessories, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Fire Alarm & LV, Earthwork, Asphalt and Pavement Markings, Site Concrete, Fences & Gates, Landscape, Site Utilities

·       Bids are to be good for 90 days from bid date.

Bid Schedule Information:

• Invite to Bid – Friday, September 25^th, 2026
•  Swinerton Prequalification Deadline. See requirement below – Friday, October 9^th, 2026

• Bids Due – Friday, October 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM

·       Anticipated Construction Start Date – November 15th, 2026

At Swinerton’s discretion, Swinerton may require a Payment and Performance bond and/or a letter of bondability from a qualified and accepted Treasury listed Surety within 48 hours of demand.  Please provide bond rate together with single project bond $ limit for scope of work to be performed in your proposal.  List of certified companies:  https://fiscal.treasury.gov/files/surety-bonds/list-certified-companies.pdf.
