DVBE SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS WANTED

City Mechanical, Inc. is seeking certified DVBE subcontractor and material supplier participation,
along with other subcontractors and suppliers, for:

Rebid - Guadalupe Elementary School, Boiler Replacement
SFUSD Project No. 12523
859 Prague Street, San Francisco, CA 94112
Owner: San Francisco Unified School District

Bids due to the District: Wednesday, October 7, 2026, before 2:00 PM
Sub-bids and quotes due to City Mechanical: Friday, October 2, 2026, 5:00 PM

Scope: removal of one existing steam boiler and installation of one new low pressure steam boiler with low NOx burner, vacuum and condensate pump system, boiler control panel, new flue riser through the existing chimney, and associated piping,
electrical, controls and hazardous materials abatement work.

Sub-bids and quotes requested from DVBE subcontractors and material suppliers for: pipe, valves and fittings; pipe fabrication; hangers and supports; pipe insulation; hazardous materials abatement (asbestos and lead, night shifts); electrical (C-10, switchboard work during off hours); controls and BMS integration; testing, adjusting and balancing (independent AABC agency); concrete housekeeping pad; crane and rigging; roofing and flue termination; painting; welding inspection; hauling and disposal.

Bonding is not required of DVBE sub-bidders. City Mechanical will assist DVBE firms in obtaining bonds, lines of credit or insurance at no expense to CMI.

All subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations under Labor Code 1725.5 at the time of bid opening. Prevailing wages apply. Quotes must be held for 90 days from October 7, 2026.
