Garney Pacific, Inc. is bidding the Purified Water Replenishment San Jacinto Advanced Water Purification Facility Projectas a general contractor and is actively seeking DBE participation, including but not limited to firms with MBE, WBE, or SBE certifications.

PROJECT: Purified Water Replenishment San Jacinto Valley Advanced Water Purification Facility

OWNER: Eastern Municipal Water District  
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this project is to recharge the San Jacinto groundwater basin with a blend of advanced treated water and recycled water. The project consists of civil/site work, process building construction, installation of advanced membrane treatment equipment (UF and RO systems), process piping, underground utilities, and final testing/startupto deliver a complete operational water treatment facility. The Brine Ponds portion of the project includes site preparation, civil improvements, installation of lined evaporation ponds, mechanical systems, and all associated electrical, instrumentation, and controls required for operation.

Garney Pacific, Inc. is a union contractor and all subcontractors on the project must utilize union labor. Garney requires that all potential subcontractors are prepared to provide a 100% Payment and Performance Bond from a US Treasury listed Surety Company. Garney will reimburse subcontractors for the required bond premium, so please provide your bond rate at the time of bid. The decision to bond any or all subcontractors shall be at the sole discretion of Garney, unless the project documents note otherwise. Please contact us for any insurance, bonding or other project-related questions.

In accordance with Appendix I, and as part of Garney's Good Faith Effort requirements, all subcontractors and suppliers that plan to subcontract any portion of their scope are required to perform and document Steps 1 through 5 of the Six Good Faith Efforts.

Garney Standard PO & Subcontract Forms: Standard Purchase Order and Subcontract documents can be downloaded with the bid documents. These documents will be used as the basis of contracting with Garney for the above-mentioned project. If you have any exceptions to these documents, please send redlines and comments with your quote.
