PROJECT DESCRIPTION:The projects consist of demolition, furnishing, installing, testing and making operational 3.3 miles of 42-inch cement mortar lined and coated steel potable water transmission pipeline and associated appurtenances, which include, but are not limited to; trenchless crossings; air release valves, blowoff assemblies, valves, fittings, and connections to existing water facilities; removal of existing facilities as required; pavement removal and restoration; traffic control; testing, disinfection, startup, and commissioning; and all other work necessary to provide a complete and operational water transmission pipeline system. The project also includes construction of associated flow control facility components and site improvements, utility coordination, and restoration of all affected public and private improvements. The work shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents.

Garney Pacific, Inc. is a union contractor and all subcontractors on the project must utilize union labor. Garney requires that all potential subcontractors are prepared to provide a 100% Payment and Performance Bond from a US Treasury listed Surety Company. Garney will reimburse subcontractors for the required bond premium, so please provide your bond rate at the time of bid. The decision to bond any or all subcontractors shall be at the sole discretion of Garney, unless the project documents note otherwise. Garney Standard PO & Subcontract Forms: Standard Purchase Order and Subcontract documents can be downloaded with the bid documents. These documents will be used as the basis of contracting with Garney for the above-mentioned project. If you have any exceptions to these documents, please send redlines and comments with your quote.
