Buhler Commercial will provide any assistance it can in helping interested parties in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, and insurance required. All proposals/quotes should be emailed to the Estimator prior to 12:00 PM on the Bid Date. Buhler Commercial is willing to break out any portion of work to encourage SLBE participation. District’s goal is to have a SLBE subcontractors to perform a minimum of 25% of total contract’s cost. Buhler Commercial encourages SLBE’s to submit pricing in order to not only meet this goal, but to exceed the percentage. All subcontractors are required to execute Buhler standard subcontract agreement and comply with all insurance requirements. Buhler Commercial requires subcontractors awarded on this project to provide Payment and Performance Bonds from a surety at the subcontractor’s expense for any contract that exceeds $300,000. Buhler Commercial is signatory to the Carpenters and Labors Union. This is a Prevailing wage project. This project is subject to a project labor agreement (PLA) that all contractors on the job must agree to in order to perform work. All subcontractors must be registered with the DIR.
