Rubicon Builders seeks quotes from certified SLBE subcontractors and suppliers for participation in the following County project:
Project: College of Alameda ADA and Site Improvements AND College of Alameda 860 Atlantic (Science Annex)

Rubicon Builders is requesting sub-bids for all applicable trades, including but not limited to:

• Demolition
• Concrete (concrete reinforcing, cast in place concrete, polished concrete finishing, concrete topical treatments)
• Concrete unit masonry
• Metals (Factory treatment of metals, structural steel prime coatings, metal fastenings, metal fabrications, decorative formed metals)
• Wood, plastics and composites (miscellaneous rough carpentry, gypsum sheathing, cementitious sheathing, interior finished carpentry, architectural wood casework, wood door frames)
• Thermal and moisture protection (Thermal insulation, penetration fire stopping, joint fire stopping, joint sealants)
• Openings (door lites and louvers, hollow metal doors and frames, flush wood doors, aluminum windows, door hardware, glass glazing, mirrors, fire rated glazing)
• Finishes (plastic laminate, floor transition strips and reducers, paints and coatings schedule, non-structural metal framing, gypsum board, ceramic tiling, Acoustical panel ceilings, resilient base and accessories, tile carpeting, sheet carpeting, wall coverings, acoustic insulation, exterior painting, interior painting)
• Specialties (Tactile signage, plastic toilet compartments, commercial bathroom accessories, fire extinguishers)
• Countertops
• Plumbing
• HVAC (common work results for HVAC, testing, adjusting and balancing HVAC, metal ducts, air duct accessories, diffusers, registers and grilles)
• Electrical (common work results for electrical, requirements for electrical installation, low voltage electrical power conductors cables 600V below, grounding and bonding for electrical systems, hangers and supports for electrical systems, raceways and boxes for electrical systems, wiring devices, interior lighting -LED)
• Fire alarm system
• Earthwork (earth moving, site clearing)
• Exterior improvements (pavement based course, asphalt paving, concrete paving, cement and concrete for exterior improvements, concrete curbs and gutters, pavement markings, chain link fences and gates)

Support for Certified Firms:
 Rubicon Build, Inc. will provide reasonable assistance to interested subcontractors, including:
• Help in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, and insurance
• Breaking down bid packages into smaller components to facilitate participation
• Providing project information and clarifications as needed

Project Labor Agreement (PLA)
This project is subject to a PLA that all subcontractors must agree to, a copy of the PLA can be found in the specifications.

DIR Registration
This is a prevailing wage job, and all subcontractors must be registered with the DIR.

Construction Schedule
Overall duration 365 calendar days
