Coral Construction Company is requesting sub-bids from qualified DBE/DVBE/SBE/MBE/WBE/LBE/OBE Subcontractors, suppliers, and truckers for: Contra County Public Works Countywide Guardrail Upgrades Phase II.

For the following (but not limited to) work: traffic control systems, portable changeable message signs, water pollution control, erosion control, clearing and grubbing, asphalt paving, aggregate base, imported borrow, concrete and curb removal, chain link fence reconstruction, guardrail and Midwest Guardrail System delivery, crash cushions, end anchor assemblies, retaining walls, bollards, and related roadway safety improvements. Project scope also includes hot mix asphalt placement, concrete end blocks, driveway mirror replacement, treated wood waste disposal, and miscellaneous site and roadway improvements.

All Subcontractors must possess a current California Contractors License, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting Coral’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Coral Construction Company Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and subcontract agreement can be obtained by contacting the project estimator. 100% Performance and Payment bonds will be required for all Subcontractors. Please call Coral Construction Company if you need assistance obtaining insurance, bonds or lines of credit. Coral is Union Signatory. Subcontractor, Supplier and Trucking quotes must be valid for the award period stated in the contract documents. Conditions or exceptions in Subcontractors’ quotes are expressly rejected unless accepted in writing prior to bid.
