DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Services and installations for a new two-story modular building: Grading, Miscellaneous Metals, Landscape and Irrigation, Underground Utilities, Flatwork, and MEP. The two-story modular building will be provided by the District. Contractors are expected to fully cross coordinate amongst all disciplines. Scope includes work associated with the City of Santa Cruz offsite permits, new flatwork, new drive approaches, and utility street tie-ins.
Construction scheduled for August 2025 – May 2026. Bidding delivery: best value bid.
Work to be completed according to all applicable building and administrative codes, owner contract, certified payroll, prevailing wage, and union. Subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and have DIR number.

PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Subcontractors must be prequalified with XL Construction. MEP contractors are required to be prequalified with Santa Cruz City Schools.

Instructions to Bidders will be made available on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 12PM through Building Connected.
Request for information are due Wednesday, July 16, 2025 by 12PM to fflores@xlconstruction.com
