Pre-Qualification Deadline: July 18th, 2025
 
Labor Requirements:

• LBE/SBE Requirement by Trade Package (20%-50%)
• Prevailing Wage – State (DIR), Project Labor Agreement (PLA)
• The mandatory local hiring participation level is 11% of all project
  work hours within each trade performed by local residents as defined by SFO’s local hiring policy and at least 50% of the project work hours performed by local apprentices within each trade

Nibbi Brothers has been selected as the Design-Builder for SFO contract 11921.66 (Design-Build Services for West Field Utilities and Paving Project).  We are currently requesting pre-qualification forms from subcontractors and suppliers including those certified with the San Francisco Contract Monitoring Department (CMD) as local business enterprises (LBE’s) for Substation BPStructural Concrete, Substation BP Structural Steel, Substation BP General Contracting.
 
Pre-qualifications are due no later than 5:00 PMon Friday, July 18^th, 2025,online via the Building Connected website.
 
The Project will plan, design, and construct new facilities to replace and relocate SFO power Substation
BP (“BP”) currently supporting medium voltage power distribution within SFO’s West Field Campus. The
utility infrastructure that transverses the West Field is critical and supportive of SFO operations across this
area.  Construction of the new power substation will require the following trade packages: 
 
·       Place and finish all structural concrete for the construction of Substation BP as designed
·       Furnish and install all structural steel for the construction of Substation BP as designed
·       Manage all scopes required for the construction of Substation BP, including drywall and metal framing, roofing, building insulation, doors/frames/hardware, specialty doors, fencing/railings/vehicle gates, resilient flooring, painting, and code signage. In addition to these scopes, the contractor will also manage previously selected trade subcontractors for MEPF systems, structural concrete, foundation, and steel.
