Bid RequestsBuhler Commercial CSLB # 1003262 400 Brannan St., Ste. #204 San Francisco, CA 94107 (415) 610-8650 An Equal Opportunity Employer Buhler Commercial is preparing a bid as a Prime contractor for the following project: Contra Costa County Capital Projects Management Public Works Department: Brookside Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (135-2401) Women’s Business Enterprises, Other Business Enterprises, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Local Business Enterprise, Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises Participation Goal Bid Date: December 17, 2025 2PM Buhler Commercial is soliciting proposals/quotes from all qualified and certified Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs), Other Business Enterprises (OBEs), Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), Small Business Enterprises (SBEs), Local Business Enterprises (LBEs), and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBEs), for the scopes of work required for the subject project located at 847B Brookside Drive Richmond, CA 94804, including but not limited to: · Site clearing and demolition including pavement and tree removal · Site grading, asphalt pavement, concrete pavement, and pavement markings for site improvements · Site Utilities · Exterior fence and gates · Interior demolition along with interior hazardous materials abatement and disposal · Install new irrigation system, landscaping, and hydroseed site per contract documents. · New interior structural concrete slab infills and grade beams · Masonry walls · Structural and miscellaneous steel for interior improvements · Wood framing for revisions to interior/exterior walls and ceiling · Interior millwork/solid surface countertops · New roofing shingles and TPO roof with roof accessories, sheet metal flashings, and roof drainage systems · Openings scopes such as doors, frames, windows, glazing, and storefronts · All new finishes such as but not limited to: gypsum, lath/plaster, ACT ceilings, paint, tile, flooring, epoxy flooring, and wall coverings · Food Service Equipment · Bathroom accessories, interior signage, fire protection specialties, and lockers · Fire sprinkler system · Plumbing lines, equipment, testing, and accessories · Mechanical equipment, accessories, ductwork, controls, and testing · Full electrical power distribution, lighting, exterior lighting, transformer, and low voltage · Fire Alarm System · Low Voltage Systems such as but not limited to telecommunications, data, nurse call station, and access control/security. Buhler Commercial will provide any assistance it can in helping interested parties in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, and insurance required. All proposals/quotes should be emailed to the Estimator prior to 12:00 PM on the Bid Date. Buhler Commercial is willing to break out any portion of work to encourage MBE/OBE/SBE/WBE/LBE/DVBE participation. All subcontractors are required to execute Buhler standard subcontract agreement and comply with all insurance requirements. Buhler Commercial requires subcontractors awarded on this project to provide Payment and Performance Bonds from a surety at the subcontractor’s expense for any contract that exceeds $300,000. Buhler Commercial is signatory to the Carpenters and Labors Union. Project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) that all subcontractors must agree to in order to work on this project (copy of the PLA can be found in the project specifications). This is a Prevailing wage project. All subcontractors must be registered with the DIR.
